Using Pages & Patterns

Pages & Patterns is an evolving reading-tracker service. You may use it for your personal reading history, analytics, goals, imports, and planning. Do not use the service to break the law, interfere with other accounts, probe security controls, or upload content you do not have the right to use.

Affiliate links

Some retailer links may be affiliate links. Pages & Patterns may earn a commission from a qualifying purchase, at no added cost to you. Offer content is shown only while current under the applicable provider rules, and sponsored placements will be clearly identified.

Your account and data

You are responsible for keeping your sign-in information secure and for the information you choose to add. You retain your rights in personal notes, reviews, and other original content you provide. You give the service permission to process that content only as needed to operate the features you request.

Book and challenge information

Book metadata, covers, challenge details, and links may come from third-party sources and can be incomplete, delayed, or incorrect. Attribution and source links are shown where required. Pages & Patterns is independent of Goodreads, StoryGraph, Open Library, Google Books, retailers, publishers, and challenge organizers unless a page explicitly says otherwise.

Beta availability

Features may change during the private beta. We work to preserve reading history and provide export and deletion tools, but the service is provided without a promise of uninterrupted availability or that every provider search, import, reminder, or calculation will always be error-free.

Ending use

You may export or delete your account from the Account page. Access may be limited when reasonably necessary to protect the service or other readers, investigate abuse, comply with law, or retire the beta.

Changes

Material changes to these terms will be reflected by the updated date above. Continued use after a change means you accept the revised terms.
